Day 1 is complete! I
wasn't sure how well today would go since it was day 1, and the day I drop the
kids off at my Mom's and go into work at the office. It was a little hectic
fitting in my work out, meal prep, chores, and getting the kiddos squared away
all during the window of 6:30am - 8:30am, BUT I pulled it off!
I did my workout
first thing "total body cardio fix". It was harder than I expected. I
had to go down to the modified moves half way through several of the moves. But
I did it! All 32 minutes of it :)
I didn't pack enough
to eat at work, but I wasn't starving either. I put lemon slices in my water
and that was pretty tasty. I had 2 hard-boiled eggs for breakfast, and my
protein shake on my way to drop the kids off. At work for lunch I had 1 green
container of raw spinach, 1 yellow container of wheat thins, 2 large slices of
chicken breast deli for my red container and 10 baby carrots for a green
container. Then I used the orange container and drizzled balsamic vinegar on my
salad, and topped it with half a blue container of crumbled feta cheese. It was
good! I drank two shakeology containers of water at work, totaling 50 oz. When I got home from work I was starving. So
I ate 1/2 a banana for a purple container, that was hard for me because I hate
fruit, but I'm allotted 3 purple containers a day. For dinner I had a baked
chicken breast (red container), and 2 yellow containers of brown rice, and
cooked carrots with 1/2 blue container of shredded cheese. I ran out of time to
eat my last green container and I knew I wouldn't eat my other purple fruit
containers. I ended the night with a hot cup of lemon ginger tea. First day was
a success! 1 day down, 20 to go!
